Dr. Nan Harrell Ph.D., is the owner and CEO of FastWhimsy. Dr. Nan has worked in the IT industry for nearly 30 years.  She has been involved in the implementation and management of both State security programs, as well as health information technology programs. Dr. Nan has also served at several higher education establishments, teaching both online and face-to-face, supporting their information systems and security programs.

Dr. Nan's research is focused on the work system design, which is the very substance of all organizations. Without a work system, there is no organization. In the process of working on the work system research, Dr. Nan has also gained great insight into behavior science and why humans make the choices they do. This information is key to ensuring our training programs meet the needs of the learner. Good security behavior, whether the learner is an IT professional or a medical office front desk clerk, is extremely important. The success of the organization and the success of individuals involved depend on it.
